My strategy would be to clear the owners debt and offer them some incentive cash for keys and a rapid, clean exit of the property.good luck.

Locally, "dealing with the city" gets a bad rap, (part of the growing pains of the area - rezoning areas, budget constraints, rapid growth is always going to ruffle some local feathers:) but the folks down there are very friendly and timely, in my experience.

I currently am just focused on wholesaling, I try to mainly focus on Pontiac and the surrounding areas, but I am connected to a couple realtors out in Grand Rapids, Saginaw, and throughout metro Detroit and I'm always running across different types of deals.Its good to see a fellow Eaglet on here.
