I was hoping you all could help me navigate these two extremely different pieces of advice.My short term goal is to be able to make enough off of rental properties to have a passive salary while I earn my Ph.D.

Obviously when starting out available money is one of the hard things to navigate.

You can navigate tax sale law and make LOTS of money, don't get me wrong, but you better not rely on DIY to read statutes, even for lawyers!!!

Insurance can be a complicated thing thru which to navigate so trusted advisors are an important part of your team!  

A great contractor can help you navigate sudden bumps in the road.

The goal of the group will be to hold each other accountable for working towards your REI goals as well as helping each other navigate the REI watersWe're looking to have the group to be centered and made up around those looking to invest OOS using the BRRRR method.

I'm sure that information is available on biggerpockets but I'm new to navigation of the site.
