I then looked it up... this is a left over strip of land in an exisiting subdivision. there are 500 to 800 k houses on either side.. its in a very good area..however the lots are all 1 acre and better.. and this strip of land is 50 to 60 wide and 300 plus deep.. it will most likely not meet the width to depth requirements of the zoning for that area.. and it may be too small as well...

I ask as I might build one as a lot I purchased isn't wide enough from a zoning perspective to be subdivided for two single family homes (it is 75 feet wide and zoning requires 50 feet width per lot).

I was able to accomplish what we did, because I was not capital restrained, and because I knew exactly who the prospective buyers would be and how many of them I could count on to buy a home in that redone community.As a general rule, our company never recommends anything narrower than a 16' wide, even in shorter configurations, unless it is a smaller multi section like Titan builds for lots that have width but not length.
