We shoot idiots into space on rockets and build flying cars, bragging about how good technology is getting, but my county alone is 80,000 affordable housing units short of demand...we are in a housing crisis that we as a nation have never experienced...Housing a bunch of high wage earning white people is just not appealing to me on any level.

If you like FL, I like long-term rental in the Lakeland area right now because of the influx of jobs coming.

I couldn't wait for the job offers to fly in my inbox as I planned my flight out.Then....COVID....hit.... hahaI had to call the US embassy several times just to find a flight out of the country.
