I get that title insurance e saved you once but really I should be thanking them , no I think they have made themselves into this role where they want everyone to believe nothing can be done without them and the time they take, it takes them 2 days to walk a piece of paper across a room.As fir the lady she should be helping her clients the people who pay for thier services to resolve these type issues not act like she's the great almighty God of real-estate transactions who no sale can happen without her blessing. 

Of course, with any office that has 100's of agents, you'll also be surrounded by many who just hanging out at the office and that isn't the best environment.This experience helped me narrow my focus to only income-producing activities and led me to join a team.Cloud experience: From KW I went to exp where there is little to no culture but an online group of 10,000's of agents and a half dozen brokers to answer my questions.

I'm still active in the Detroit market.

You have to enjoy what you're doing and if you don't, find a way out of those tasks/activities and into something you will.

Aside from this any recommendation about groups that  should join or actively participate to maximize my reach?

We run the calculator on multiple properties each week even if we are not actively looking . . . keeps us in tune with the market and you never know when a deal will appear.  

Either way, the properties that will float to the top are those with the most clicks and booking activity, (or the brand new listings).

So you don't need to work in real estate.The question remains, how do you want to generate active income? 

There is no downside, besides more activity on your listing, which means more calls and lots of potential upside.
