@Georges ArnaoutEquity = LLC.No Equity = keep Private ownership.I've heard Buyers will purchase a property in their own names for favorable financing then transfer ownership to an LLC for anonymity and protection from frivolous lawsuits.

I was listening to another attorney here in Chicago, who specializes in landlord/tenant law, talking about how often landlords want to remain anonymous, or appear as "managers" to their tenants - he didn't get it at all!

Trust provides anonymity (providing you close on your properties in the name of the trust) and the LLC provides liability protection.
