Are Rocket Mortgage and Lending Tree reputable and if I were to go that route, what would the process look like?

These don't grow on trees unfortunately.

They wanted to plan trees on MY side of the fence and were just "letting me know" that's what they were going to do.Nope, not happening.

I'd strongly recommend working with a broker that has access to multiple solutions rather than any captive carrier.
