Would you consider private lending?

I am trying to learn as much as I possibly can before I start doing this kind of lending. 

I am looking at a few things but recently have looked at Private Lending vs buying into syndication deals.With Private Lending I believe the returns would be better, but the effort would be more (finding the deals, managing the deals, etc).

And you can actually use those funds to invest in properties or do lending, if done properly. 

Focus on making yourself a strong candidate for banks to lend to. 

Commercial lender will lend for a max of 15 years and up to 80 percent of cost, note UPB, and house appraised value.

Are you looking to syndicate deal, be in a syndication, or buy on your own? 

If an association becomes largely rented out with few owner occupants banks will not lend on properties that are for sale in that association.

well since banks basically dont do this kind of lending at all for 95% of folks.HML  PML or  money partners is the only way to do it .. short of using your own cash.

Have you faced obstacles with high-interest rates in private lending?
