.- If they are more reasonable you may want to accept if for now, but let them know you'd be doing regular increases to get the rent more inline with market rent.Too many newbies here will tell you to get market rent or get rid of the tenant.

Funny, my state looks at all of the states taking property rights away from owners and then passes laws that do the exact opposite- it's a great marketing strategy.

You have many people who say midwest markets are now appreciation markets, but I disagree with that statement.
