One thing I would recommend is be careful and develop your personal why/vision and stay true to that it will guide you in the how.

I was listing to “Good to Great” by Jim Collins on the way into my W2 today and the author mentioned something that I have been thinking about ever since I heard it…He mentioned the concept of when building a project/business, hiring the people in the right seats FIRST, and then beginning the work on your vision with them as your team SECOND.

The city has the same vision I have for the location and are excited to move forward.

I was introduced to a great contractor who had an investment property and understood my vision for rental housing.

Well, when you hang out with people who have an amazing vision for their life, it tends to rub off on you.

My wife has a vision of super comfortable beds, which we've read elsewhere too and it's hard to accomplish that if you're requiring people to bring their own sheets and make their beds. :-) We're also hoping it's these small things that people notice and make them come back to us vs one of the other dozen units in the complex.

Is there a vision that any others will become shareholders (or be granted grant options to acquire shares) in the company in the future?

Humans are horrible prognosticators because we all have deep biases and narrow vision.

Most deals in todays strong market, will require a little TLC, so Even if you are not extremely handy, Having the vision for what a property can become, can put you way ahead of the crowd. 

Stick to it and don’t lose your vision .
