If you are getting your hands dirty I'd say stay local because your appreciation will be better long term but if you want the passive route there are several markets east of you and maybe north.

I own a SFR on 75th and multi family just north of there in the Arleta rentals... trying to see if people are seeing an upswing in that area and long term prognosis is moving in the right direction.Any insight appreciated!
