I can't have them recording to a DVR because then the thief could just steal that.And if I have 4 rehab projects going on at once, that means probably 20-24 cameras all capable of recording at the same time.

That will set off all kinds of alarms in an audit.Once you've completed your 1031 you are simply placing the property into a an entity, probably for liability purposes. 

If they can lend based on those numbers then that would be the greatest HELOC I have ever heard of...I've been doing this a while so I know that there could be a possibility that the loan they quoted you might happen but I have alarms going off in my head like crazy on those numbers.

You got security camera, alarm?

I have an alarm system for theft, anyway.I know this probably sounds stupid to everyone, but I even know neurosurgeons who don't carry insurance.

The first one left the place imaculate (100% security depost refund) and this last one had leaks occuring for months that she never reported, and actually moved the moisture alarms without thinking to give us a call and notify us, as well as kids with permenant markers, nail polish left on the countertops, sheetrock damage, carpet trashed, oven gross, you get the picture.  

The software allows you to monitor every time the door is used and to "lock out" the door if the property is vacant for extended periods of time.The higher end locks offer some tampering safeguards and can be integrated into alarm systems.Hope this helps.
