Hi,Has anyone compared the returns of a stock/bond portfolio against investing remotely in real estate?

I trade stocks &  options and sometimes the options don't pan out and expire worthless.  

If you are into trading or investing in stocks, then Norbert's Gambit is a method used to avoid currency exchange fees.  

You can't predict future liquidity, lending standards, interest rates, etc.

Those will give you real estate experience and good returns, without the volatility of the stock market - assuming proper due diligence. 

Maybe employees that get stock options as part of their compensation, but I'd caution against that.As you gain success in life, you will find a long line of people ready to take your money, your success, or your fame without giving back or contributing. 

Matthew Jurica I will be grateful forever that Dave Ramsey's book pushed me to get out of debt and get my finances right.Keeping that in mind, I found myself lost when he encourages to invest in the stock market.

then I'd predict that agent is not going to last long in this industry. 

yep, selling stocks/mutual funds to invest in RE doesn't qualify......not "like kind".

Now that real estate and stocks are at all time highs, what's considered under valued?
