Getting a license to become a loan officer seems to be a great entry point to enter the industry while I build up my real estate network from scratch.

Not an issue as to title, it may be as to an occupancy permit, start with the zoning office. :)

From your post it sounds like a great software to use that integrates most of the office functions a real estate investor needs.
