@Basit Siddiqi was kind enough to let me know I had an error in my Payment Received journal entry and that my debits and credits don't equal.

Another action I have done is: after I have clarified my goal, I will write it down (in a journal, or anywhere) once in the morning and once at night.

Im using the journal to post the payments on my current payments for other mortgages.

I think reading the Business Journal for a particular city can be rally helpful as the articles focus on business climate.

It's great when the media does some old-school heavy-duty investigative journalism and the government responds with hearings and it's own investigation (think Watergate).
