Paint the counter a dark gray with the counter top paint that's out now.

Wholesaling has some gray area legal stuff.

I haven't heard anything otherwise but it seems to be one of those gray areas that hasn't been fully explored or tested yet.

Ok….I’m a true greenhorn beginner here ((Basically explain it to me like a 5yo because I see the picture in shades of gray where as you see it in HiDef color ;) ))....So let me try to recap your view the best I can and clarify. 

Currently I'm analyzing Point Breeze, Fish town, Grays Ferry and University City markets for properties in REO status.

I sent out a yellow letter campaign in my area (Grays Harbor County, WA) and had a woman call me back about a certain property.  

I actually wanted to go with a light gray thinking it was a more modern color...but wife vetoed that. 

Typically in residential market the glass is clear or gray in color. 

I have currently started looking in Grays Harbor County, WA.
