Not much to do here except watch the ice floe move back and forth on the lake or watch it freeze all the way across. :)

The plumbing is often not properly insulated under the house so you have to watch for freezing pipes.Mobiles are built cheaply and can involve a lot of maintenance.

We had a wall pipe freeze and burst in my first (2fam) and water everywhere destroyed the rehab we just completed.

Along with those that want to get out of the very Oppressive Texas and mid west summer weather or the freezing weather of the north east.. but it is still very rural as coasts go especially compared to other parts of the US coast line.PS on Thursday I was over there looking at a potential fixer.. 

Is there any functional difference aside from freeze/thaw cycles between the two?

The only problem is that BP freezes/bans lenders accounts if they reach out to sell loan products in the message boards.

For that reason, I have opened accounts in multiple local banks, at least to try their services and reactivity.I also had some bad past experience with some banks closing or freezing accounts at the worst time due to change of their policy or other concerns asking for mode documentation.

No Earthquakes or Tornadoes or Hurricanes or Freezes or Floods beyond the Macae River.
