As a side bar, my company has a property going on the market soon in one of the 'Big 4' NC areas (greater Raleigh) and we don't expect to change pricing because of coronavirus.

And i would make the difference if, for example, the house is for living, would be nice to have schools, parks and bars nearby.

For now, i am just looking for hospitals, schools, parks, bars and what i called "other places of interest".

But barring that, it could be a huge risk.That's my understanding of it anyway, but I'm also open to more knowledgeable responses. 

Constitution (applies to the States through the 14th Amendment) forbids impairing lawful contracts.State can make it onorous (sp) to get your money, but it cannot abrogate the accrual of rent or the right to (eventually) get it unless  barred by bankruptcy  

However, many of the large format, high rent restaurants are going to cull stores (we had a Bravo announce it was closing a location as soon as Ohio's bar/restaurant shutdown was announced). 

First, tenants should be asked to prove their financial hardship – notice of a layoff, proof their income is from a temporarily closed bar or restaurant, etc.

The onslaught of big restaurant/bars and the retail market will be taking a big hit. 

You can buy alcohol at a liqueur store or a bar.
