Most likely she used an under-the-table handyman for the repair or did it herself and charged you a nominal fee for it, either of which isn't the proper legal way to handle it.$100 to have someone come out to repair a damaged fence is ridiculously cheap.

The thing is I bought this property from a friend who needed money almost 30 years ago and the country its in has nominal property taxes, literally nominal so the property has no cost me nothing to carry all these years.
