I wonder if they would phase S8 out gradually though, so as not to have riots on their hands.I haven't read this whole thread so maybe it's already been brought up, but I'm concerned that states will jack up the property taxes even more to get more revenue.

If the change is purely for economic reasons I think it should be phased in gradually over the course of several years so that workers would have time to adjust their skill sets to compete in other areas of the economy.

@Trevor Dominique it sounds like what she is most worried about is that she can’t let her dog run around with the new baby in the house and it will be much harder for her.You might be able to address that fear by getting an electronic fence, the kind that trains the dog to not go beyond the flags.That should be a lot cheaper and allow you to come up with a more gradual solution for the fence.

I've seen clients who give notices to vacate immediately and rehabs the rentals and I have seen investors ride it out with gradual increases and saving the cash flow for better rehab options in the future.
