Personally, I would ask the neighbors, go by on trash day to see if there is trash left outside, leave a paper (anything, even blank) on the door and in the mailbox to see if it is picked up the next day, and drive by at different times, morning, afternoon, evenings.I bought an unoccupied house with furniture left, Previous owner moved in with elderly mother.
