If the lease has terminated you can move to eviction but you must provide the proper legal notice in order to get a court date (probably a full 30 days).

I've never heard of an insurance company terminating a policy due to a police dog on premises, fact of the matter is they would probably be happier with that dog as a deterrent to other property damage and theft exposures.

This is called a legal eviction.When it comes to a termination of tenancy, (not renewing someone lease), Michigan has a 30 day Notice of Termination form that we send our Tenants.
