@Vito DiIennaWhile I have not had to get a Letter of No Objection myself, if I had to do it, I would go right the the DOB, go into the Office that you can get an official Cert of Occupancy and ask them what is the procedure to get the letter.Normally, you will need to provide evidence.

This mindset limits the size of investments I can pursue more than if I did not have this objective.

I would suggest setting up a VA, building your own list and having them call and vet for motivated sellers for you.

Nashville Yards is set to open in the Spring and the new Pinnacle tower is gaining office tenants like crazy - much to my surprise. 

The experience of the housing provider is going to be the real challenge to getting you a set of keys to move in with...they have to qualify, pass inspection, sign a bunch of paperwork, and finally lease up and send everything into LMH. 

My ultimate objective is to build a scalable real estate portfolio and buy 2-3 rental properties in the next 6-12 months.
