.@ Mike...yes I've begun looking at bargains in the western suburbs of Cleveland, and I'm quite surprised at the bargains in Rocky River, Lakewood, Avon Lake.

I'm from beautiful Western MA and travel all over New England - a full time Analyst for a major utility by day and a REI student by night :-) So far I have been to a bunch of REIA meetings and have been making offers on various properties.

Stay away from Lawrence, Brockton, Fall River, and Lynn - I would only do the following communities in the BEST PARTS or sections - Lowell, Chelsea, Worcester, Springfield and stay out of the sketchy parts of Boston.I think anything East of Worcester might be decent, but I don't know Western MA well at all so anyone else that has input, please share
