@Joshua Feit my biggest tip would be to make sure all of your numbers work assuming you long term rent it i.e. don't rely only on STR revenue in your analysis.

and you have to hire experts to put it together Bond councils etc etc. can cost you 100k or more. for us average investors its a non starter.. you need to rely on church groups Habitat .. and in a small way the little Chairty that a few of us BP members started called  aheroshome.org  were we are giving a home away to a first responder free and clear..
