Does someone have a recommendation for an attorney (prefer Central Texas area) that is familiar with the structure of this type of transaction and can walk thru all necessary steps prior to finalizing financing and preparing for closing?

You may want to consider working with your tax strategist remotely to expand your options.I would also recommend looking for a tax strategist willing to work with you throughout the year, not just when preparing your tax return.

It's a good idea but it's like anything else in a lease - you have to be prepared to evict if they don't carry/keep it.

Better to be prepared than to get into a deal and have to lose the deal, because you weren't better prepared.

While turnaround times vary, a well-prepared package can lead to a decision within days, sometimes even within 24 hours, from reputable lenders.
