If designed well it could be very easy for all to know exactly how much they will need to pay and perhaps it could automatically be withdrawn.There would be a huge tax savings possible, most of the IRS would become unnecessary, many of the lobbyists and special interests would have less power that might translate into a better performing market place, tax preparers could find other work, products would be sold on merit rather than tax advantage.Revamping the entire tax system is not likely to happen, but it would help the economy in the long run.

She took an issue that could be debated on its merits, and corrupted it to the point where it couldn't even be discussed, all with that one ridiculous phrase.Harry Reid does this same thing every chance he gets -- he takes issues from a point where they can be logically debated, and turns them into sound bites that essentially remove all rationale.

More layers of drama.Other than renting to university/college students I would never accept any applicant that could not pass screening on their own merit.
