It's an indirect way of asking that would not put the investor you are meeting with on the spot.

Just remember that you cannot legally act as an Owner/Builder on your investment properties...just your own residence of course.Reason being - this would put you in direct competition with Licensed GCs and you would have a huge unfair advantage.....
