The main house is a 2 bedroom, one bathroom, 1 car-garage attached with new shingle roof, new windows and doors, new stucco, new extensive drive-way, porch and patio, new wood fencing, new epoxy garage with remote garage door for you to enjoy.

The cost broken down was the following work.Tree cut down and limbs cut back from over house and haul offSeveral tall shrubbery removed from against house and haul offBroken  gutters removed and new gutters installed for front of the house Cornice package repair and paint several locationsDecking repair and new shingles in sectionRodent removal and feces removalNew insulation and removal of feces-embedded insulationHVAC drain pain drain pipe modification Note: I'm not sure what a handyman could do other than this to remediate the infestation but this is what I would have to do to stand by the work. 

I would suggest that you keep searching craigslist and Facebook marketplace for a current list of those hanging up a housekeeping shingle.  

A simple light bleaching of the asphalt shingles will take the stain out of the roof (before the painting obviously).

There is a rise in the shingle shop brokerage, just somewhere to hang your license and you pay a flat fee for each transaction.

In retrospect, I was likely too forthcoming with the insurance companies.The house is habitable, there is no interior water damage, but many shingles have been blown off and the inspector and roofing contractors recommended a new roof or varying degrees of repair.

I put in new water heaters, and if it needs a new roof, I do a "roofover" with new architectural shingles.

There is no "trouble" in covering it up - you just cover it up. 50% of the older houses in my area that have vinyl siding on them have asbestos shingles underneath.
