My dad and i have a private lender for a house we are remodeling next door to our house. we could move next door into the house we are remodeling and rent the current house we live in(without rent to own). then use the rent money to pay the private lender for the money we will need to borrow for the subdivision.

Once you finish remodeling it you can decide if you want to repeat the process but I will assume you decide to repeat the process.Prior to moving out and repeating this process refinance it (not using the VA/FHA loan).

They would give no consideration to the "magical one mile radius" and neither do I when considering comps.I've also found that a remodeled house from the 50's has the same value here as a similar remodeled home from the 90's.

Hello, I need to do some remodeling to a home and since it is the first time I am buying these materials I wanted to know if there is a better way to buy (cheaper) than just going through Home Depot or Lowes.
