Looking at the homes on the market, prices vary wildly from $~200-$400+/sqft and it doesn't seem to correspond to just the quality of the house.

Not too low either, you don't want to go with someone who is just focused on price as this is a quality of a not-so-great accountant.

Small does not mean you need to sacrifice on quality.

As a born and raised European, I am painfully aware of the scarcity of good quality food in the US.

- Are there certain areas you would stay away from and why (eg, high crime, bad schools, poor quality builds, etc)?

@Neil Warren you are paying for someone else to do all the work for you.Also, you want the BEST inspection possible because you don't know the quality of the work.

We have a high quality of customers after we cycle through poor payers. 

It is under 2 years and very disappointed for the quality.
