I'm looking to do the same thing and not getting clear guidance from the mortgage holder as to process for "requesting" approval to move the property under an LLC so I can do things above board... thinking of just changing the policy but insurance said they would need to write a whole new policy as opposed to just moving it under the name of the LLC... which I would imagine will tip off the mortgage holder.

From there the owner needs to pay what is owed (interest and all) or the tax lien holder will be granted possession.

Question: if the county the property is in starts an STR permitting process (they don't currently), will I be able to get a permit even though I am not the legal title holder?

What is your experience in doing so for the following areas:- Landlord insurance policy (I learned and confirmed with agents that my name would remain, and we just go ahead and add the LLC into it also) (This will also be under an umbrella policy)- Loan (I learned that as long as the LLC is owned by the original primary loan holder, they will not need to call on the loan)- What are the TAX advantages/disadvantage of doing this (my status is not full-time investor, still hold full time W2 job, and a SMLLC)Thank you very much BPeers!
