My guess would be too, that when this issue is not addressed by state law, how it washes out may lean toward lenders in conservative business minded states and toward borrowers in more consumer minded liberal states, that's a guess.

Scrape off whats there , go to the local self service car wash and clean it , or grab somebodys pressure washer blast it clean and put it back .

I washed the walls with a bleach cleaner and then I used Killz 2 the oil based primer on the walls, and baseboard.

On the reverse side, I have been a tenant a few times and I not only never received a gift from my landlord, I never expected it either.For those of who are saying that your tenants are you customers, I am a customer to a LOT of business, both large (Wal Mart, BP, Wells Fargo, etc...) and small (barber, car wash, liquor store, etc...) and I do not receive nor do I expect to receive a gift from any of them.But for those of you who do give gifts, I respect that and I am glad it works for you.

I was going to hire a pro to acid wash it that way none of the detail is lost since this is sand stone from Scotland and I could give all the history and the cost of this place was crazy.

I suppose there will be more upkeep (landscaping, etc.) but maybe it's a wash?
