Should I have business cards available since I’m new or is it not mandatory?

Can I just apply for a EIN # using my name and my SSN # to get a business bank account and business credit card?

And about 35,000 of that was on a credit card..

I've come to learn that they have about 15-20k in appreciation that they want to take advantage of in order to pay off some credit card debt.

Doing this, I would have to put the education expenses on a card.
