Sometimes, perception is way off and misunderstandings are taken way off the course.

Now, if the scammer was caught and convicted of something, that's an open field day on them, reporting the facts of that case.I think some people will feel screwed over and the other might feel as if that was the deal, just misunderstandings, are we to sort that out?

We both feel we could do this on a handshake but we feel that it is best to approach this in a business like fashion and put things in writing to avoid any possilble confusions or misunderstandings in the future.

Again, not to pick on you but you had a misunderstanding that an investor gets a 1099 instead of a K-1.
