Now they want to be reimbursed because they repaired a property that someone else owns.Being the buyer I recommend not doing anything that is costing you money or time that you are not prepared to donate to the current owner.

I'm also involved the patriotic way.I've donated to Buck in CO and also to candidates that have sworn to NO more spending bills passed without having a way to cover the costs.

   :)On a less radical note, you'd have to consider bunching up 2 years of deductions (property taxes & donations) into 1 year, every other year.

Working with the city not just with words but backing up up with huge donations and renovations.A big part is the city didnt give young professionals reason to want to stay.

If social conditions are going to improve in this country I think it's going to be incumbent about the wealthiest americans to donate more of their time and money to help solve social issues.

Oh sorry I missed part....she has run for several offices, when she needed money, she ran for office and used money that was donated.

I know this because I run a chapter of a charity (Sleep in Heavenly Peace) in my town that builds beds for kids that don’t have beds and Lowe’s has been an amazing partner, donating tools, lumber, and their time to help us building and deliver beds to these kids.

If I was looking for a tax break I would donate to charity  or increase my Ira contribution.

Donate to charity - church, habitat for humanity, nearby school.Let them go for unpaid real estate taxes.Craigslist ad offering free house.
