I have been in bad real estate deals before and my advice is to not let this scenario distract you from the rest of your financial and real estate goals.

That's the phase of life you're in now and don't distract or dilute your energies from the main thing which is to graduate, complete your degree and do it with excellence.

Someone in my position, I see a lot of "great deals" so it is very easy to get distracted by one type of asset class over another.

It was easy to find a different small project to distract me or find an excuse to drive to Home Depot or start some other small project.

Just use the advice from an Attorney and/or a CPA (or tax accountant) to make sure you need it and the right entity to form.Another thing you might want to consider is where to locate your office with minimum distractions.  

A website only provides  a 'presence'.Mind the Store and avoid distractions.

He will skyrocket way out of the reach of Brother B in terms of assets.I've discarded the spurious distraction of Brother A paying an additional $100K/month on the mortgage and Brother B investing an extra $100K/month just to show what the real difference is between paying off your mortgage vs. borrowing on your house to invest.

Focus on making sure your step will get you where you want to go, but then just go crazy focusing on that and don't stress the long term or at least, don't let it distract you.
