Stick to the terms of the lease....If they terminate they pay the fee and leave early....If they stay they pay.....If one moves out, the other pays the full rent until another approved roommate is acceptedThe both terminate, pay the fee and move early........ best option....If she pulls the " I don't feel safe", she can legally terminate early with no penalty IF...IF.... the threat is documents with a police report restraining order etc.....she cant just claim it..... you need legal documentation of the threat to her safety.....Best option is they are both out and you re-start.
