For private money, if they fund the deal, and you do all the work in supervising the rehab, marketing for sale, etc, upon resale you split the deal 50 - 50, or some other way.$1 Consideration can be to receive half the equity in the deal from a JV Partner (usually a busy business owner that cant be bothered with buying, rehabbing, selling etc.)I believe you need win win deals to get a good reputation with Sellers and PLers in your local area.All the best,Brian

If the property was built before 1978, you should also get a lead based paint test before starting a big job involving drywall, windows or paint.By the way, it is normal for the manager to mark up the bids, to compensate them for organizing, supervising and approving.

In some states it’s salesperson and broker and the only difference between those is as a broker you can have your own firm but as an agent you have to work under the supervision of a broker and hang your license with them.
