My investments were all what they termed private placement and was essentially funds used for lending, buying notes and recently land trust.After MIdland sprun this on us, my spouse also has accounts, I did some research but didn't see a purpose to remove our accounts at the time.I have not been with ET long enough to give comment on them and what little "issues" occured were technical.

Some of the other lenders mentioned in this thread are more so private lenders / hard money lenders and while they may underwrite based on DSCR, I don't think it is the DSCR loan you are looking for.

Private lenders or even creating a small syndicate with a group of investors might also be worth exploring, especially since you can point to your uncle’s track record and your own experience managing rentals as a selling point.If timing is tight, you could look into a bridge loan to secure the property while figuring out a more permanent solution.

I am starting to realize there has been a significant amount of consolidation in the space by private equity and other institutional investors. 3) From research it also seems like getting financing can be difficult without prior experience in the space.
