You may need a little guidance to understand that this is far simpler than it sounds and dare I say you may be suffering from informational overload if you think its all that hard.

This is something that’s new for me and no one in my family has dared to take on something as big and rewarding as investing in real estate. 

I think I would have held the whole deposit back, (only because of the way they acted towards me) and dared them to sue me.....If I got a letter from an attorney telling me to pay or else, I would have my attorney....

If I were you I would use a fake name on my profile also and not dare show my face.

Plus, I dare say the rates on your personal debt are significantly higher than a typical mortgage so waiting only means you pay more interest than necessary.
