Folks who are 'living better thru chemistry' end up making some peculiar life decisions.

I may be the exception to this but if you find the right guy and have the right chemistry, it could be worth taking the risk.

And like any relationship, there has to be chemistry.

.- for you undergrad pick something you want to learn about and a topic you would love to become highly knowledgeable about - history, art, chemistry, engineering, music, whatever it is.

Good work Sammy, I followed a similar path spending a decade as a physics/ chemistry/ outdoor ed teacher.

Just to add my two cents - I work in a water chemistry lab...Although it is possible this is from acidic water/copper piping, it seems very unlikely.

This is a pretty big career shift for me (I teach high school chemistry in New Haven now).
