DSCR loans are generally done in the name of the LLC (or whatever non-personal name entitle owns the property), so I'm not sure why you're being told they can't lend to the LLC, unless you're trying to get a traditional, consumer mortgage.

I can do that through charging points, but since I'm getting it at a lower rate than you could as a consumer, I prefer to mark up the rate while still being lower than most others in the market.

exactly I fund wholesalers in SC all the time.. its a boon to my business  :)  these laws are sweeping the nation.. its consumer protection U just have to many deals go wonky and complaints are filed so regulators are finally taking notice to this acitivty..

I found the setup and management process on Booking.com to be horrendous, not intuitive, time-consuming, fees are expensive, I had to manually process credit cards, and only got a few bookings for my trouble.

I often look at them and think if they can do it, probably I can have some level of success too.Other key info I may have left out above:1) I am not in the US, and have no plans to visit or move there2) I am not a US citizen, but possibly have a credit history there (maybe none) since I attended university there many many years ago3) I am completely new to real estate - I've been reading crazily and consuming lots of content.

Is just about consumer protection act.. their model was get CA investor to put up the money.. then sell to non English speaker on terms.. and rinse repeat..

@Luke H.If the buyer is living in the property now it’s a consumer loan compared to a loan to an investor and will kick in a lot more regulationsYou can’t do a balloon less than 5 years, need to have it serviced by a licensed servicer, will have to go by interest rate usury laws, collect escrow…..I would not loan on this property to an owner occupant
