I am trying not to buy into the guru mentality, so I was hesitant to buy the Jack Bosch course due to the expense.

We lived in it as a single family residence and over the years of things that looked like they had been renovated started failing… we realized the owner before seemed to have a slap it together cheaply himself mentality.

The owner had been living in these conditions for a long time due to mental health issues.It was heartbreaking to see.We agreed on a price and closed very quickly to provide relief.

Retiring altogether is the best option, but doing something else might be worth it for my own mental health.I thought about getting into the property management side of things for other investors because I have so much experience on that side of things, but I really have no idea how to even start with that. 

Initially signed up for property management for few months before I'm mentally prepared to start self-managing.

The law requires disabled persons to have a minimum 30-day relationship with their licensed mental health professional (LMHP), who must be certified to practice in California.  

Be prepared with the mentality that anything that can go wrong will go wrong.

We partner with a lot of organizations that help certain individuals whether it be re entry programs, addiction programs, section 8, mental health organizations etc. with that a large number of our residents receive some type of subsidy and most are not section 8.

I am in Alaska, the dark winters just aren't manageable for me anymore so I decide for mental health reasons its best to relocate.

I was recently involved in a thread where the OP was almost radical in her dedication to her short-term $savings at the expense of long term gain, and yet was bemoaning having had a mentally unstable tenant turn vicious on her.If you "face the beast" you must expect to be battered mercilessly at some point.
