If I'm the original poster, I'm staying away from people that don't have to fortitude to understand how individual RE investing is, and pushes a single investment style.

It would take an outstanding display of courage and fortitude for anyone in the current position of power to maintain or raise rates to "correct" or truly influence the current debt or fiat future outlook. 

Other big reason, perception financial fortitude of the buyer.  

And coming from someone who had one of their first flips go really bad, it can definitely kill your momentum, unless you have a lot of intestinal fortitude and deep pockets!

It takes a certain fortitude to mange D area properties.Any advice on how you found success doing this?

So unless a seller has the fortitude of a bank, everything's going to be negotiable. 

After seeing success on my first deal, I thought my emotional fortitude and confidence would be extremely high going into the next deal.

But remember , just like any flip , you need to get in cheap -  but additionally with land, you have to have the fortitude to hold on to it until it sells - which with vacant land can be a very long time if its not priced right.
