Hello biggerpockets, I recently passed my state exam to become a licensed salesperson and I want to fully immerse myself in the world of Real Estate.I would love to work with a broker who can possibly act as a mentor and guide me through my first couple of months as an agent. 

They are usually done by a block method using square feet, they don't have time to look at each property so if you bet on that value, you'll be wrong, it's apples and oranges.If you don't know what value is based on and the 3 approaches used, you're not even in real estate, you might be playing some guru game playing house like a 5 year old girl, just trying to play with bigger houses.

Pick a niche in real estate (buy and hold, flip, etc) and immerse yourself in the niche.

I don't start my full time consulting job until August 2016 and have a light class load throughout the spring so now is the ideal time to immerse myself in real estate.I am considering getting my real estate license, but also interested in working on some flip projects.  

I have considered looking for reale-state jobs so I can really immerse myself in the industry, but I don't even know where to begin and I'm not sure if my tech/marketing background can really help me land a job.
