We do not have harsh winters so you don't have hard freeze problems.

Title says it all... this is in my personal residence but I’ve found BP to be a more credible source for answers than searching the web. After 2 or 3 showers the water gets cool/lukewarm, not freezing and will stay that way, can usually get away with a shower in the morning and one at night without problems but if it’s the kids in the tub and a shower that pretty much uses it up.Typical usage, nothing too long, any help?

The FDIC and many state regulatory agencies will require the lender to substantiate a global portfolio freeze based on value. In the past, I've frozen my entire portfolio but I was able to document that, on a global basis, values had decreased in excess of 50% from origination value.

I do not know if it will add value, it may if it is uncommon for houses in the area to be insulated. and for $250, well worth doing, it may even help prevent any pipes from freezing in the future. as far as the electric, i do not find that price too bad, the basement will be easy for them to take care of, the 1st floor, they will have to open up the switch and outlets, tie the new wire to the knob and tube and pull the new wire up using that knob and tube wire and re install the switches and outlets, there is some labor involved and is easier with 2 workers. the lights are going to be the hardest for them to do and they may have to open some walls, i would check with the electrician on that and see if you are going to have the added cost of repair and re painting. a lot of times insurance companies will not cover you if there is knob and tube in the house and it was never disclosed to them, so it would be worth it to you for the insurance protection to have it done. over all though, it seems like a good price.

After the walk through with an inspector we discovered that both boilers and multiple radiators were blown out from freeze damage, also some structural damage.

Option # 2 May pay out as low as 25% of your claim cost.So on a $50k freezing pipe claim, option # 1 gives you $50k, option #2 gives you $12,500.Not sure a freezing pipe claim can he that high, but you get the idea.

AS long as credit does not FREEZE we are good.. and unemployment does not sky rocket we are good interest rates can climb a tad.. but I think people will pay that extra 100 a month for a house and maybe buy a cheaper car or put off buying that RV or boat..
