It was incredibly disjointed and dysfunctional.

I honestly think Lawrence could be the true up and comer if they could ever get a handle on their unpredictable politics/ dysfunctional local government.

This is more than an oddity to me - it makes the sink and the kitchen essentially dysfunctional.

There are still deals to be found in those markets, too.You have all the benefits of Detroit - large metro, restaurants, stores, major airport hub, but without the risks of crime and city dysfunction. 

Buying these kind of things is a lot like being in a dysfunctional relationship.

I know it's gotta be fire rated like an stairwell or elevator shaft, but my local code office, always dysfunctional, changed to a perfect system (for them) where there's only voicemail and they never return calls.
