Attend meetups and message investors/realtors/wholesalers.

I did not attend the 3 day class, but purchased the self paced virtual version with the mind set that even if I only learned the how, it would be worth the spend long term.

There’s no shortcut to experience, but you can accelerate your learning by leveraging other people’s experiences.One of the best ways to do that is by attending meetups.

I will be attending a real estate meet up tomorrow night in Seattle but would appreciate any advice before the meet up. 

@Jake Thorpe  I did NOT say that I bought all those, only that I saw those properties offered for sale at Tax Sales that I attended.

Attend events regularly, stay engaged in conversations, and keep learning through books and podcasts.

., giving you market guidance, open houses, vetting potential buyers who don't have and don't want representation, contract negotiation, managing/scheduling/attending inspections and surveys, fielding bank requests for information, making sure government paperwork is done, you imagine and write it down and you'll still miss some stuff, but that's okay.

The REO class starts on Monday and I am attending but I am not spending another nickel with this so-called guru or his COGO Capital organization, which he claims costs $1999.00 but is pitching for $199.00 now and another $199.00 in 30 days.

It is maybe a couple hundred dollars to join and you can attend numerous classes and meetings.

You're off to a great start by educating yourself and planning to attend meetups—that’s where the magic happens!
