@Matt Pippin a few reactions-you will not get cash flow from your very first rental property for at least several years, if not longer. 

My reaction was 'definitely NOT.' 

@Alex Kosley while I kind-of understand where people are coming from on the knee-jerk reaction of "pay-off debt, all debt, first, NOW" it is simply not an accurate answer. 

My initial reaction was that the property manger needs to dismissed immediately.

Beyond what is right and wrong, is what is most likely to occur..my forecast is based on an initial knee jerk reaction and subject to evolve..My prediction is that buyer(s) will still want (and need) to be represented, but likely at a lower average cost. 

The fittings also had a lot of issues with the o-ring melting out on the hot water side or during installation as well as the metal degrading quickly due to the zinc reaction to water.

Also if any of the conditions mentioned by Bruce above such as the presence of the animal causing you undo financial harm (such as insurability or liability issues), or the animal is a threat to the safety and health of other building occupants (maybe they are allergic?) 

My knee-jerk reaction would be that the sellers want to split the sales between 2017 and 2018.

Here's my gut reaction: Don't sell, unless they and you think this is a poor long-term investment.
